Befriending Hubs

The Friends for Life Befriending Project offers a befriending service to people aged 50 plus living throughout Torfaen. The aim of the service is to reduce loneliness and social isolation, but also reunite people with other members of their local community. We run befriending hubs every day, they are currently located at the following places:

Monday: Pontnewynydd Community Centre

               Court Farm & Oakfield Community Centre

Tuesday: Ponthir Village Hall

Thursday: Victoria Village Hall, Abersychan

                 St Mary's Church Hall, Croesyceiliog

Friday:     Widdershins Centre, Sebastopol

All hubs operate from 11.00-15.00 and there is a £1 membership fee. For more information contact Laura on 01495 769264.
